9 Perfect Winter Soup Recipes
We’ve been having bitter cold weather with very snowy days. It seems like all I’ve been craving lately is hot tea and soup. I can’t remember drinking as much hot tea as I have been. This morning I woke up thinking about soup and thought I would share 9 soups you could make this Winter.
On what feels like a never-ending quest for a seasonal meal to please all palates? Look no further than these nine recipes: simple, easy, delicious.
1/9 – Egyptian Chick Pea Soup

4/9 – Turkey and Cabbage Soup
A quick and easy soup using either turkey or beef, stock, cabbage and red beans. The soup is brought to a new height by by sprinkling some fresh grated parmesan cheese on top. It’s a heart soup that if very fill, yet quick and easy.
5/9 – Chicken and Barley Soup
Barley is a high-fiber grain that helps lower cholesterol, reduces the risk of heart disease and Type 2 diabetes, and aids regularity. It has a springy pasta-like texture and a mild, creamy flavor. This is a another hearty soup and the chicken and barley with vegetable make a great combination.
A very quick and flavorful Asia soup. Chicken stock with fresh ginger, creamed corn, chicken, egg whites and parsley or cilantro. Yummy and ever so quick… less than 3o minutes.

Even though I make the soup on the stovetop you can easily make in your slow cooker. This soup really does taste like stuffed pepper in a bowl. I use turkey but you can substitute hamburger mixed garlic, tomato sauce, cabbage, vegetables and rice. A very flavorful hearty soup.
Its filled with hearty white beans, spinach, tomatoes, chicken, and parmesan cheese swimming in flavored chicken broth.
Very quick to pull together using your slow cooker or instant pot. It is a very heart soup and is why I nicknamed the soup Chilioup. Easily adapts to stove top, slow cooker or insta Pot.
