I’ve been using and enjoying the new upstairs master bathroom.
Which I have a love/hate relationships with. I love it because its the largest bathroom I’ve e.ver had! There’s enough room for two sitting areas and storage cabinets too. I love it because Mr. C rarely uses it which makes it all mine.
Do you wonder where my towels and other toiletries are kept? Now you do, right?
Do you reminder this thrift store furniture find?
A gorgeous vintage chest that I scored for $0..
The vintage chest now resides in the master bathroom. In case your wondering I did find a spot to store all the vintage linens that were in this chest elsewhere. But, alas, that’s another story.
On top of of the chest is where I store a few toiletries I use daily.
The pretty rose vase was a thrift store find for $2…and the bathroom has pink accents. Since the vase is so pretty it didn’t need any flowers.
I use the Longaberger basket to hold my hand towels and handknit washcloths. While I typically use a table runner its actually a curtain. I’ll buy anything with lace on it and curtains have the length to make a table runner. Once I don’t want it as a runner I’ll cut the lace off and use for something else. A very cheap way to get lace and at a thrift store price.
If you’ve been following me you know how much I love vintage dishes! I’ve used a few pieces in the bathroom and always look for florals. The pretty dish holds Q-tips.
Another pretty floral vintage soup tureen hold my cotton balls.
The area where the vintage chest is in front of the cast iron tub and next to the toilet in the back of the bathroom…
This chest fits perfectly in this area. Also in the corner is a mirror I’m trying to figure out where I’ll hang it? There are few full-length walls upstairs since its all gabled.
Soon I’ll be sharing more about the upstairs master bathroom updo’s. But one problem is that the pair of barkcloth pink floral curtains meant for the bathroom is working out better in the guest room because of the floral rug.
