You might know that I’ve been volunteering at my favorite thrift store which has me buying many thrifting finds and treasures.
I’ve been volunteering since December and its been getting me in trouble! I’ve been buying too much stuff! I work on Monday morning and have never left without buying something.
Last week I worked 4 days which hindered me getting any decorating done. Many called off with last weeks snow storms.
So let me share just a few of my thrifting find and treasures…
First of all I certainly didn’t need another teapot…Sadler”Rose Garden” made in England, $4
My grandmother gave me her treadle singer sewing machine but during my divorce from my 1st husband she gave it away! So I was so happy to find the one above for $65.
P.S….excuse the mess….Yes that is a tree branch hanging on the right side.
Growing my milk glass collection…vase and custard cups.
Vintage Indiana Milk Glass tumblers/goblets.
Johnson Brothers, Vintage platters, Fairwind pattern. The yellow is showing stronger in the photo than actually is. Whenever I spot something from England I just can’t buy it!
A gorgeous vintage pink chair….$25. The pink color is much prettier than what’s showing here. Also besides being pretty it is very comfortable.
My feather bed cover bit the dust and have found some nice quilted mattress pads. This one is on our bed and I’ve also found 4 more..all twins..two for the Terry and two for Shasta trailers.
Vintage trailers do not have the most comfortable beds so these will really help.
A set of 4 cottage floral mugs (two are in the dishwasher). When I spotted them they reminder me of Spring.
A vintage tea trivet plate…So pretty.
Another collection I have is Blue Cornflower by Corning Ware. I think my problem is I have too many collections…but its not my fault its the thrift stores fault for offering them so cheap!
Now it seems like this is one chair I should not have boughten…and I don’t know why did….and Mr. C isn’t happy I did! So its sitting outside until I can figure out what to do with it. $25
Often times I wish I didn’t find so many great thrifting finds and treasures but they just see to find me?
Houston, I do have a problem and I’m wondering is there’s a 10 step problem for those of us just can’t help ourselves. Will anyone of you become my sponsor?
What I’ve shared is just a drop in the bucket of what I’ve scored…
