Hey there, the weather is pretty warm and humid here in IL. Since I don’t do well in humid weather, neither do my sinuses, I’m stayed inside to create a simple master bedroom spring vignette. The vignette is on top of a fireplace found while thrifting…one of my best finds…
I’m always lucky to find mirrors thrifting and this one is very heavy…and is never hung up…I’d be afraid of it pulling down our plaster walls. I love the beveled glass and have thought about painting it white. That’s hard for me to do to a piece in good condition and I lean to varying colors/touches in a room.
Our Lilacs are in full bloom and cut many to bring inside providing beauty and fragrance…
On top of the world,
Into a dimension unlike this,
With a choir of lilacs,
And dreams of orange,
I’m living it.
I dont usually use “fake” floral but the bedroom is on the darker side and helps to give a floral look!
Above the floral, using thrift store art work, two rose prints were used.
All the art work used at the Charmer are from thrift stores and the rose print on the bottom is one of my favorites.
You really can find the best treasures at thrift stores and the bird house was one and I didn’t even need to paint it!
Also clipped some bleeding heart and woodland poppy (yellow) flowers to add freshness and color.
Summertime is the perfect time for a simple master bedroom spring vignette…
I’ve been busy working on our summer porch and am so glad we do not have any trips for a few weeks…Spending a lot of time in the gardens and greenhouse. Oh, the pleasures of warmer weather!!! Are you all enjoying your spring so far this year?
