Hello and I hope you are enjoying your day! A fall wicker wall basket is a perfect wall/door decorating tool. They are charming, inexpensive and come in a variety of sizes, so whether you live in a cottage or an estate, there is one to fit your door. Thrift stores are a great place to find, nice, inexpensive baskets. All my wicker baskets are from various thrift stores.
The weather has been perfect fall weather, cooler days followed by warm days and nights dipping into the 40’s. My plan was to switch my wicker wall basket from Spring (never got to a summer look) to a fall look. Just found this cute book table and included it to create a fall vignette.
You probably know by now, everything used in this vignette was a alley freebie and thrift store treasures. Of course, the mums and pumpkin are from our farmer’s market. This is my favorite thrift store basket find and love the shape. Most of the flowers are from thrift stores a few from the Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby.
In the vignette I wanted to continue the fall theme with Aqua touches that were used in the Fall China Hutch and Fall Tablescape. The quail planter was filled with dried maple leaves from last year, my favorite creamer, amber alcohol bottle with a quail tin found today. I had a dentist appointment way up North in Chicago and afterwards stopped at a favorite thrift store. Aldi’s, this week, had bags of small pumpkins (6) and gourds (6) for $2.50. Way cheaper than the farmer’s market.
A few aqua books place on the book shelf with a aqua bottle tucked in the corner.
The aqua vintage books are thrift store finds, I buy hardcover books many by their color to use in seasonal vignettes.
I really like how this vignette turned out…and loved being able to keep the aqua theme going.
Have you been creating any fall vignettes? Fall what a great time of year!
