Charming Cottage Home Series – Pink Cottage
In the last few years, I’ve become more and more drawn to the color pink. I’ve love red, blue, merlot but not pink, not even when I was young. But in the past few years, I find myself gravitating more and more to pink, soft pinks.
So when I was browsing through cottages to share I stumbled upon a pink cottage. Not to mention that I’m not brave enough to paint the Charmer pink. The cottage paradise is located on Tybee Island, Savannah, Ga.
The cottage’s name is “Luscious Little Cottage”. A home built in the 1920′ and the home for the engineers who built the road to Tybee Island.
There are nine pocket windows throughout providing for light and breeze.
I love the color combinations of pink, yellow and aqua and its perfect for being on the beach.
Another great feature is having the Atlantic Ocean beachfront is right outside the front door.
This charmer is a one-room cottage with a layout that includes a combined living room and kitchen space, one bedroom and bath. I just love the “cuteness” factor of the cottage and all the glorious colors used.
I seriously have a crush on the gorgeous floral armchairs. They look so comfy, don’t they?
Even though the kitchen is smaller it doesn’t sacrifice style or function. I just love the center enamel table!
Another feature is the bedroom has a vertical half-wall divider for the queen bed. What I love is the bedroom is separate and opens the space at the same time.
Since the bathroom is smaller, the white walls provide a larger feel to the room. Also, the window helps the room to seem larger too.
Also, in the backyard, is a separate building called “The Roost” that houses two twin beds for additional sleeping space.
