Charming Cottage Home Series – Country Cottage
When I saw this home it just evoked quintessential cottage to me. Click on photos for source.
With its gray shingle siding, bright white trim, and charming window boxes full of flowers, it truly is picture perfect. I could also see myself sitting out on the porch sipping tea and reading a book.
The panel windows and doors bring added charm to the home.
I love white cabinets which are perfect for cottage kitchens since they tend to be smaller and keep the space looking bigger. The door and cabinet glass panels allow the natural light to fill the kitchen. Ehe oval mirror is unexpected but it helps to reflect more light around the kitchen.
Just around the kitchen corner is a charming little dining nook. The glass panel cabinet allows the space to feel larger by more light shiner though and creating a sense of openness. A classic farmhouse table with white wicker chairs.
The living room is on the smaller size and to me, the overstuffed furniture and a leather ottoman lend a heavy feeling to the room. They do look very comfortable though and comfort does mean a lot!
The white wall in the bedroom provides a bright and airy feel too. The nightstand is the perfect size for a smaller room and yet provides storage space.
The second bedroom also is done in all while keeping the light flowing and consistent with the master bedroom. I love how the natural floors and windows panes provide depth and interest to the room.
I love this small and charming bathroom. Keeping the color light and bright. A vintage medicine cabinet and claw foot tub. It reminds me of our master bedroom bath with the tub in front of the window.
Even though it’s a small room it doesn’t lack charm or function.
I hope you enjoyed another Charming Cottage Home Series. Hopefully, each cottage home with help inspires us to decorate our smaller cottage homes.
