I'm starting to focus on my holiday projects..
When I was at a garage sale I found these frames...
for $1 each, this is when my inspiration hit me.
Took them home, painted white, and took apart.
I made a template of the frame back by using a manilla file folder ...
I sprayed the template with spray adhesive and placed a piece of burlap on top.
Placed it back in the frame...
I've always loved plaid for the holiday's
Cut into 1 1/2" strips (length of material), my machine wasn't set up,
so I did a quick hand running stitch down then center..
Pulled the thread to gather, place on top of burlap and hot glued down.
Dollar Tree has these glitter squares for a buck..
I used black because I like how it popped!
After cutting my letters out, hot glued to center.
Here's the Joy I've been working on...
I will use them as wall decor, but right now my walls are filled with Fall decor.
What Joy have you been working on?
Linking to these par.tays...
