Whats been going on…
It’s been crazy busy with winterizing the trailers, preparing the gardens for winter.
So whats been going on? Here’s what….

Canned tons of tomatoes. Tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
Stopped at Jo-Ann’s and spotted a new 1930’s cotton line.
Sleeping on the floor for the last 5 weeks while we refinish the wood floors upstairs.
Last week we finished the 90-year-old Douglas Fir floors in the bathroom and master bedroom. This week we’re working in the dressing/guest room and hallway. We were able to move our bedroom furniture up and it’s nice to be back upstairs.
Refinishing our old floors can be hard work but at least we aren’t paying someone else to do them.

I’d rather be decorating but we’re working feverishly to get the upstairs done as soon as we can with Thanksgiving coming!
