Vintage Ladder Linens
Have you ever see an image online or in a magazine that stayed with you because it inspired you so? That’s how I felt the first time I saw vintage fabric draped on a vintage ladder and used for decor. I was smitten.
I love using ladders for decorating and have used them to hang lights from and linens on. Also, I’ve even hung a few pictures on them, and also dried flowers hanging from them. Ladders are great to use in small homes like ours.
You might also know how much I love floral oil paintings which, to me, looks perfect just above the ladder. The wall color is coming off a little darker than it actually is.
A ladder draped with vintage linens in the living area corner. It sits between two large windows where the sun is pouring in.
It was a surprise when I found the top vintage linen. The tablecloth was inside the bunk cabinet of the Terry Trailer we purchased. I especially love that one with the pretty shades of blue, pink, yellow and green.
As you can see the ladder is older and still have remnants of white paint on it. I love that it makes me wonder the story behind it. I have four different ladders I use in the Charmer.
More beautiful floral patterns in blues and yellow. The bottom three tablecloths are thrifting finds. Oops, I think I forgot to iron the bottom tablecloth. But that’s whats great about the cottage style…it’s relaxed. Vintage Ladder Linens.
Vintage ladder linens are a great way to display your linens and bring color to a room. It also helps to bring a bit more of cottage charm to the Charmer.
