This past weekend Mr. C and I met a few friends glamping in Indiana. Having over spent the weekend before I wasn’t really looking to dish out money on more vintage finds. You know by now it’s one of my favorite pastimes and since it rained all day on Saturday I headed out!
You all must know by now that I can’t pass up linens, and couldn’t pass up this linen tablecloth, a crewel linen for $10. Its in really great shape and is on a heavier linen having a grain sack feel to it. Loved the colors…
A really nice gathering basket….
More vintage doilies, the color is really off in this photo taken at night. The doily in front is a beautiful shade of blue and here it doesn’t look pretty at all? Its a mason jar lid. The two violet ones are hot pads.
An adorable vintage round sewing box that is wicker on the bottom. The color isn’t showing well here either its a really pretty aqua color…Moral don’t take photos at night!
Wooden vintage wine rack. I’ve scored a few of these at thrift store and I’ll share what I’m using them for soon….
A pretty blue jar with lid. If you aren’t, I’m thinking about how I really don’t need this! MORE dishes!!!!
There were several more stores to score some more vintage finds but I was able to steer away from them. Let me just say that wasn’t an easy task, my steering wheel kept turning, but I just kept heading back. I feel I made huge progress by only letting myself go to one store…that’s something to be proud about, right?
Have you scored any vintage finds? Do you wish you hadn’t?
