Boy we got hit with snow the last few days – Yipee! It gave me plenty of time to create!
Last night it rained like crazy, and melted all the gorgeous snow – 🙁
The weather has given me the time to Create!
Here’s how I made it…
Using a very large quilters hoop, 27″ wide x 13″ (found at a local thrift store for 99¢) I placed a piece of white lacy material in the hoop.
I used a Dollar Tree’s “Love You Forever” banner to make the stencil for the LOVE letters.
I made the letters, L, V and E by tracing on a piece of cardboard. Mine were made 2″ taller (7″) then the lettering on the banner, by just moving the banner up/out and tracing the outline. For the O, I used medium sized paper heart also from the Dollar Tree.
For the heart, I used adhesive spray on the heart cardboard and pressed the moss on top. Next cut off the excess moss.
The E was made by hot glueing a red yard fringed trim from a thrift store.
Heading to my craft room to make a Valentine Runner.
There were a lot of great Valentine Projects at yesterday’s Linky party.
