Valentine’s day is just a few days away. Gosh it seems like time is flying by! I finished the Valentine Decor in the dressing room and sharing it today…
I love layering pillows on a bed and siince I didn’t have a red pillow shame I used one of my vintage linens. A smaller tablecloth that I simply wrapped around the pillow.
Both linen/lace pillows came from the thrift store I volunteer at. Also, three years ago I made the floral heart using a thrift store blouse
Tucked inside the greenery is a LOVE hoop art that’s one of my favorites.
When decorating for Valentine’s once of the first things I hang is the heart banner.
It has definitely seen better days but using a dry iron I press the pages flat to use once again. I used pages from a book, just cut a V on the bottom and glued fabric heart cut outs.
Next to the bed is a side table that is draped with my wedding dress a fur skirt on top. No matter how hard I try that lampshade wouldn’t stay straight?
Also a bust with pink pearls and roses.
A very dreary day and ever so hard to get good photos.
A red throw with another favorite hoop are the vintage rose picture.
So, my wish for you is that you always feel loved no matter who you are with!
