A few weeks back I headed out thrifting and found some thrifting treasures. Actually, I headed out to grocery shop but just had to stop at the thrift stores I passed along the way :-}.
Now if you’ve been following me you know I don’t need anymore vintage dishes? But, just seem to beckon to me, take me home! So I do!
Small chafing dishes work well in the Charmer. Smaller always works the best. I actually have the larger version of the chafing dish too. It is a very pretty pattern that works well with Fall decorating.
Since I broke the white chafing dish I had I was so happy when I spotted this exact one. Another small one works well stacked on books and in smaller spaces. The candlestick in the background are thrifting finds too awhile back.
An adorable owl mug that I’m drinking my morning tea out of as I write this, $1
I so don’t need another teacup, but, I just had to have this lovely teacup from Austria, $2
A beautiful, made in England, Teapot with violets. I have several vintage dish pieces with violets and was so happy to add a teapot to my collection, $3
One can never have enough wooden boxes and I think this was is a sewing basket, 99¢
Four beautiful floral napkins that reminded me of Laura Ashley, 4 for $5
The birdcage stand was found at GW for $5….I plan on spray painting it white.
A cute white wicker wastebasket for the new bathroom upstairs, $2
Have you scored any thrifting finds lately?
There are two bushels of tomatoes that need canning sitting on the kitchen table..a perfect Fall day to can.
