Thrifting Fun and Finds…I haven’t been thrifting much but have headed out a few times on a mission to find chandeliers. Up until last Friday I wasn’t successful but found two that day! Will share them with the remodel posts.
I’ve think we had/tried at least 7 different tables in the kitchen so I wasn’t really looking for another one. Last month at a barn sale I scored this cute table for $24 bucks. Its the perfect table for the nook. When not in use the ends can drop down and pushed against the window.
I liked having the garden table there but it was hard to use since there wasn’t a glass top. Things kept falling and through which didn’t really work out well for us.
The table needs a coat of paint which will happen sometime in the fall…
I scored two cute vintage tin baskets, on the same day, at two different places, both barn sales. The tin baskets make for pretty storage options, $2.00
Another cute tin basket, $2.50 Both floral and will provide great storage.
A pretty vintage floral pillow, $4. It never hurts to ask if they’ll take less..it was marked $12, and she said, I’ll give it to you for $4.00. I said OK!. Sold
Two needlepoints, more florals, which will be made into pillows.
Homer Laughlin platter with pretty roses on it. $5 Smaller platters and wall grouping just seem to go together.
A cute floral Vera Bradley purse for $7.00 The purse I was using was in bad shade and was happy when I spotted this one one at Goodwill.
If you’ve been following me you know how many floral oil paintings I’ve scored. The floral oil is much larger than I normally buy. The oil painting had such beautiful colors that I couldn’t’ resist, $9.00
Most of all I love to cook, garden and knit then thrifting…but if I had more money thrifting fun would climb the ladder.
