I’m sharing another thrift store platter vignette which showcases another thrift store platter. If you’ve been following me you know that all my vintage dishes were found in thrift stores.
Most of my vignettes in the china hutch starts with a vintage platter.
A gorgeous platter from England and love the touches of aqua in it. Behind it is a large white platter which provides a lager presence to the platter.
Since the platter had aqua in it I pulled several pieces to compliment it.
A knitted aqua pumpkins, vintage aqua vase and my favorite fall creamer/pitcher.
Keeping the aqua theme going used my knitted pumpkin and in front a pretty Lefton bird.
Lefton consists of pottery, porcelain, glass, and other wares imported by the Geo. Zoltan Lefton Company and is know for the head vases.
A pretty brown transferware pitcher.
Vintage hardcover books help add character and height to a vignette. Pulling in aqua colored books provides a great contrast against the brown one while keeping the aqua them going,
All my fall decorations have been taken down and put away. Starting the Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving has helped me catch up since the remodel.
Wishing each and everyone of you a happy Thanksgiving. Be appreciative and grateful for all we have to with all!
