By now most of you know that I love vintage dishes all of which I have found at thrift stores. I’ve also been lucky in finding vintage platters too. My thrift store fall platters helped me create a few vignettes in the china hutch.
You have no idea how ecstatic I was when I spotted this beauty. A King Tom Ironstone platter from Goodwill for only $2.99!
The platter became the centerpiece of a vignette.
On top of a few fall colored hardback books is a Haeger dove which was also found thrifting. I found the truck at Joanne’s and was on clearance for $7. The cups I’ve used before and love the aqua on them.
I’ve so got to paint the back of the china hutch since I really dislike the color!
A stack of vintage dishes and some very tarnished silverware.
A very tarnished copper piece and love the green patina on it.
Vintage teacup stuffed with one of my knitted pumpkins and placed underneath is a vintage runner.
This is the first year I’ve done very little fall decorating since I haven’t been able to catch up. I only have two more vignettes to share and I’m moving on to holiday decorating.
As a result all the fall decor has been taken down and put away and we’re moving on to the holiday decor. It felt good since I don’t feel pressure about being behind anymore.
