Spring is here,
the sun is shining
breezes of fresh air are blowing in through the windows.
Blooms are popping everywhere,
and Forsythia’s are in bloom!
Some might not know what a Forsythia shrub looks like..
As you drive around you will see it everywhere, just look for the yellow flowers.
So what does it have to do with your lawn?
When you see a Forsythia in bloom,
it’s time to give your lawn it’s spring fertilizer with a pre-emergent herbicide control.
What Does A Pre-Emergent Control Do?
It prevents the germination of weeds in your lawn.
They control annual grass weeds like
by not allowing their root system to develop and it also kills young seedling weeds shortly after germination.
Pre-emergents can be chemicals or Organic (corn gluten meal), both are available.
I don’t know about you, but anything I can do to prevent weeds is a good thing.
So do you see any forsythia in bloom in your area?
Now you know what to do!
What you waiting for!
