Spring kitchen vignette….
The weather has warmed up again and has been a crazy week.
Tomorrow we’re heading over to Indiana for a week. We’re meeting some rally trailer friends for a long weekend. Since we’re headed in were going early to work on the Terry.
She, he has no name yet, but, our goal is to….
Scrub the outside
Then seal two leaks
Thoroughly scrub and disinfect the inside
After that rip out the ugly benches
Check out water heater, “sewer” stuff, A/C, Furnace are working
Rip off remaining horrendous vinyl on kitchen cabinets
Tear off ugly tiles in kitchen
Hang curtains in dinette area
Sew bedroom and bathroom curtains
Paint Kitchen cabinets
Make beds with linens
Do you think we can get this all done by Thursday?
Since I’ve gotten a little off topic I’m now ready to get back to the topic at hand! Spring kitchen vignette.
Seems like I start a vignette with vintage platters. Since the photos were taken before Easter you might spot a bunny or two.
I’ve enjoyed playing with threads spoons and turning them in candle holders and vases. Then I tucked a bundle of pink pon noms inside. I cut the bunnies out and added a small cotton ball for a tail!
Then I spotted a metal hanging vase and tucked an egg inside…a floral sprig in front.
Once I spotted the rabbit I had to tuck it under the cloche. Besides it just was the cutest rabbit e.ver. Anther floral spring in front by the egg.
As soon as Spring comes I pulled out some of my favorites cottage dishes. Their placed inside a vintage dish rack.
Since I just love these dishes I don’t use then I just look at them! I also love the blues in the dishes.
Aren’t they pretty…
Next, an adorable sugar & creamer set..
So, I guess you tell how much I love them, right?
