I’m sharing today another Spring kitchen vignette….
We went to our first vintage trailer rally last week and had a great time…I had planned to share the post but wasn’t able to get any data out in the country!
You might not know that there are two small china hutches in the kitchen nook. The other week one cabinet was shared and you can click here to see it.
Each vignette started with a vintage platter which not only looks good but helps free up precious storage.
Last year while in Indiana I found the two adorable deers. I just love their facial expressions. The aqua vase was found a few years ago and is one of my favorites.
Another thrift store score is a vintage Lefton bell with pink roses. I typically don’t find many vintage aqua pieces so I’m happy that I have these two.
My absolute favorite platter in the whole world! Such a great score for $3!
In front are a few thrifting eggs with more aqua coloring…
which are a clearer here…I also added a bust with pink pearls.
On the bottom shelf…
are several pieces of vintage dishes. The platter, casserole dish and cup. The rose bracket is one from a pair of bookends.
I never worry about my vintage dishes matching and like to mix and match.
The vintage casserole dish is so dainty and elegant that I had to have it for a whooping $4.00.
Creating another Spring kitchen vignette is always fun…but then…vignettes help to express your homes “spirit”.
Vignettes can be simple, formal and are great for every season and every holiday…there a great way to add a bit of yourself. To reflect how you feel.
