Romantic Rose Tablescape For Two

Hello everyone,

I am so excited about Valentine's day this year, Mr. C. and I will be staying at home enjoying a romantic dinner in front of the fireplace.  Warm and intimate is what we want...that restaurants just don't provide.  I love to cook, so it's also my way of showing love for him by preparing our meal.

Valentine Romantic Table for Two

I don't know if you remember my friend Pat, she's a great "picker".  So many treasures I've bought from her, both my gate leg tables, linens, cake trays etc

Vintage Rose Tablecloth

.  The vintage rose tablecloth was a treasure for $10.

Valentinei Tablescape

Almost everything on our table are thrift store or garage sale finds.  The vintage cutting boards, candlesticks, dishes, cups, chargers, silverware, creamer and red glasses and planter were!

Valentine Table Center Piece

The Rose Planter is Lefton found at a local thrift store a few years back,  the ironstone creamer is a recent find from GW (.49), and I layered a Laura Ashley Heart I made with a thrift store doily.

Rose Place Setting

Our love how our place setting turned out!  So pretty...

Rose Dinner Plate

Each table setting started with a rattan charger wrapped with red upholstery jute, on top a Knowles Tea-Rose, X=2240-0 plate.

Rose Pattern Plate

On top another pretty rose plate, I think it Knowles too, but the label is hard to read...

Pink Rose Plate

Again topped with another pretty Rose plate.  There are no markings and I found a set of six at a garage sale.

Rose Tea Cup, Japan

I am a tea drinker, never had a cup of coffee in my life.  This pretty rose tea cup was made in Japan and found at Saver's.

Rose Coffee Cup

Mr. Charmer loves his coffee and this rose cup (a set of two) was a great garage sale find.

Valentine Place Setting

At each place setting a rose stem was placed in side a small candle holder.   The red glasses were found at GW, I started out buying six! By the time I got to the car I had 5, when I headed to our front door I dropped a bag and broke three more.  Now there are only two!  Perfect!

Valentine Table

I moved the porcelain flower lamp over from the sitting area and I liked how it fit right in. In the background are our burlap wreath curtains I made and dropped them to let the gorgeous sun in .

Valentine Place Setting

This is where I'll be sitting, in my comfy wicker chair I found at GW a few weeks back and...

Valentine Place Setting

Mr. C will be sitting right across from me here. The sun was really out full and bright today and it felt so warm as it glowed through the windows.

Laura Ashley Heart and Rose

Where ever your sitting I hope you are with someone who makes you feel loved.

Pink Rose

I  know I will be... and I am so lucky sitting at our Romantic Rose Tablescape For Two with Mr. Charmer!
