Hello Charming friends! Today is a beautiful day, the sun is out and shinning brightly, and there’s ever rustles and bustles of a lovely morning breeze, that shines crystal rays across my face.
Its so wonderful to be sitting outside on the porch, looking out onto the garden, knowing the majority of our home projects are done! Finally time to relax and play with whatever way I want.
Friday night 18 ladies came over for a “Dinner In the Garden” get together. You know how much I love to cook, and what a better way to show your friends how much you care for them through food!
We finished the house the morning of the dinner…and I immediately went into cooking mode. Would you believe I forgot to take pictures? I can’t believe it. The only photos are the flower arrangements cut from our gardens.
I pulled out some blue mason jars filled them with fresh cut Stock (purple), Daisies (lavender) and Gooseneck Loosestrife (white) flowers. The greenery is from the Gooseneck which has pretty leaf patterns.
Saturday morning brought them inside to decorate the Charmer with the loveliness of the fresh flowers.
My photos are not going to be the best for a while, my camera stopped working yesterday…it keeps giving me a “shutter release” failure on it. Don’t think this is a good thing;)! So the photos where taken with my phone.
Soon I’ll be sharing the Charmer’s fresh Summer look, for now, keep you eyes on the flowers on the table and behind on the picnic basket in a new enamel coffee pot.
Garden stocks in a pretty vintage aqua vase.
The Little One is also enjoying the beautiful day. She loves sitting on the stairs watching what we’re doing.
Heavy storms are called for tonight and tomorrow. So glad I was able to sit outside today!
