Hello friends, I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! Its been pouring rain in IL for the last 4 days. With so much rain I’m worried some of the garden plants will die from drowning! The ground is saturated and plants are not able to breath. Plants can drown just like us, they breath through their roots!
Since hurting my back I haven’t been out junkin in the thrift stores because getting in/out of the car is not going to well. Today I’m sharing some treasures from last month. Honesty, there are so many I have’t shared since gardening is taking center court and working at the church garden too.
I love globes and the first one I found in a stand. I would love to keep it but just don’t think there room for it so I’ll be bringing it to my antique booth, Indian Oaks, Bourbonnais, IL.
A really cool vintage crock lamp, it has the #1 on the front and in a pretty blue and white sponge ware affect. The cord is really old and helped me age it. Brought to the shop, but if it doesn’t sell I’ll have a repurpose idea for it.
4 Churchill Blue Willow mugs…they don’t look like they have ever been used. Made in England, they are up on the shop for $16.95, click here.
A really cute vintage floral magazine rack, $1.99. I’ll be using it in our guest bedroom makeover. Colors fit in perfectly.
A very pretty pink and gold creamer (24K I think), made in Czechoslovakia. There’s floral pattern on the front. Being pink I wanted to keep but so out of storage space. It’s on the shop, here, for $8.95.
I was tickled when I spotted this Pottery Barn Teapot at GW, the original price tag on the bottom is $49.95, and I got it for less than $5!
A pretty vintage hand painted rose plant. Its really quite a pretty plate. If anyone would be interested in buying it leave a comment or email me and I’ll list it on shop.
Really cute set of vintage demure bashful baby chicks salt and pepper set. They are in perfect condition, they do have age crazing. They are listed at the shop here, for $7.00
I love thrifting, its always so exciting to find vintage treasures and so much fun never knowing what you’ll find!
Have you found any treasures lately?
