With the bitter cold that’s been stuck in our area the last month I haven’t been out junkin much. Tuesday’s weather was predicted to be sunny and a high of 29°! Yes, a heat wave and I just had to get out of this house. Really, the winter blues were starting to get to me…and I needed a fix.
Warming, it was a very dishy day…gosh I wish they would leave me alone!
I’ll only list prices of items I’ll be keeping, others are going into the shop.
A beautiful set of Limoges blue flowered sugar and creamer set, the gold trim set off the blue flowers.
On thrifting days I hit no less than four stores. Routes are pre-planned for the direction I head out for that day. The best days to shop are Tuesday and Wednesday. Everything donated on the weekend, except furniture, goes out these two days. Furniture usually goes out onto the floor as soon as it’s priced since most store don’t have that much storage space.
Right now I’m going through my overflowing stash of dishes. Sorting out which ones to keep and the others to put on the shop. Most will be up on the shop by the middle of March.
Honestly, I have run out of room for dishes, even with finding some hiding places it’s getting harder and harder to keep all the dish treasures I find. Seriously, I just can’t not buy them, really, I just have to buy them.
When your thrifting, do the dishes beckon you? Take me home, take me home?
