I too, am from northern Illinois! Then I logged on to your blog. What a wonderful eye you have for design. Your house is amazing. Great story behind it! There seem to be a lot of Sears home in my area. I have toured a few that have been redone. Would love to find one that needs TLC. Anyways, I am Liz glad I ran across you!!

I am going to pin this to remember for next year. I did a tabletop tree this year, too, because we only have room for a small one. And I love the little star on top--I picked up a package of those at Dollar Tree, too, and used them to decorate a container by our front door! Hope you have a lovely weekend!
