KY Vintage Rally…
We’re in KY for a Vintage Trailer Rally. The weather has been beautiful except for an hour ago when it started raining. So I’m taking advantage to put up a quick post up.
Last year when we drove through to KY we encountered some very bad storms and took us over 10 hours. This year we decided to break the trip into two parts…we drove half way and stayed overnight. Then the next morning early breakfast and the remainder of the trip.
I was able to get quite a bit of knitting done on a pair of socks using self stripping yarn. Knitting socks has become an addiction!
It was amazing how high the rivers water levels are.
We also seen quite a bit of livestock including this young adorable calf. Look at that face!
Our site is right off the water, Diamond Lake, and we get to enjoy so much wildlife. The ducks taking their morning stroll.
Speaking of ducks, or rather their close relative the swan, this chenille one spotted thrifting is so cute. No, I didn’t buy it.
There are many cute cottages on the lake..
Like this one…
This is the rally organizer’s trailer….a Shasta like mine, but its a compact and is only 10′ long! Ours is 13′ and that’s small space living at its best!
They have a matching station wagon to drive her around with! Isn’t it the cutest thing. They look so good together and wish I could of taken a photo of both of them together…The cars today are not built anyway like they use to be. Back in the day they were built like tanks.
Well, its stop raining and I need to get the food ready for the rally tonight. I’m making a shrimp appetizer that won’t take to long but I sure need to work on my hair..
See you later with more of the trailers from the KY vintage rally.
