You’re probably tired of me saying this, but it has been soooooooooooooooooo gorgeous outside. I wake up at 6:00 a.m., grab a cup of tea and sit on the porch….then change and head out to the garden….to weed and embrace all the great things to do gardening wise.
Another peak at our kitchen updo: A corner in my kitchen!
When I started the kitchen updo I knew we needed to find extra “dish” storage. You see I’ve been finding tons of fabulous dishes at thrift stores, so much so the hutch cabinet I bought can’t hold them all.
I found this cute cabinet last year for 18 bucks…
it was the perfect size to fit in my kitchen.
She was painted Annie Sloan Old White..
and tucked in the corner…
then stuffed with vintage dishes
she has the prettiest scroll work on each side…
I placed a few of my vintage tea cups on the second shelf…
and a recent find of blue Thanksgiving turkey transferware dishes…
on another shelve a recent find (2 days ago) of vintage Vernon Kilns “May Flower” dinnerware (1943-1952)
the same day I found a pair of England Doulton Burslem kidney shaped dishes
She fits prefectly in the corner, holding dishes that otherwise would of been tucked away..
I love seeing them as I walk in the kitchen in the morning.
I know what you’ve thinking….
“Is she ever going to share the kitchen reveal?”
All I can say is soon, very soon.
