Hello, are you all ready for Christmas. Even though preparing for the Holiday Housewalk was a lot of work, with it all being done I’ve have more time to relax and prepare for Christmas get togethers. This time of year is about Joy, Joy of the birth of our Lord and Savior.
But it’s still a busy time of year and so much going on I think everyone should be off for two weeks. Oh wait, I am off…I’m retired!
With my forever hutch found two weeks ago it opened up wall space on the wall. Moving the bookcase, that housed the old hutch, into the kitchen nook left me with a ladder that needed a new home. I’d love to have the ladder in the bathroom but our bathroom is the smallest in the world!
The ladder was a freebie find used to hang vintage linens on the rungs in the kitchen.
Two vintage aprons pulled from my Christmas stash and one draped over a ladder rung.
The plaid vintage apron hung from the top of the ladder.
A cute vintage Christmas tree linen on the bottom rung and vintage ornaments inside a old canning rack.
The aqua bench/step stool is a favorite and great to use in vignettes.
A thrift store Joy wall plaque at the top of the ladder…
A few years ago I hung our Christmas stockings from the ladder…
Wishing you all a joyous season, because it is a season of Joy.
