In the quiet of the morning, as the cooler garden winds whirled about me, the silence and calm was welcomed. The calmer spirit of the day is what I’ve been missing.
The steady sound of the waterfall….a great way to wash my daily worries away.
The intrinsic embrace of immediate warmth as I entered the secret garden and pond area….where truly a part of my soul resides.
Secret nooks to nestle in in the quest of calm that nature provides.
Hidden dinning area to write my notes down…
Aways someone to keep company with.
Someone who listens…
Even someone to play with…
The quiet time, and getting in touch with myself, gave me the energy to drive over three hours to pick up a..
pair of french doors to be used in the remodel.
After getting home I started a new project. Do you know what it is? Right now I need to keep busy since only after two hours into the remodel we encountered some very bad news.. that hit our budget hard. If I knew before what I know now I would not have moved forward on this project. But, I keep hearing that’s what happens when you work on older homes :-[
Tomorrow morning I’ll be spending much more time in the quite of the gardens. A day with many decisions are in front of me.
PS…didn’t have time to proof read this its after midnight and it is what it is!
