Smile Peeps!
Today is the day I decided to clean out my refrigerator,
OK - maybe I should of done it last week or even the week before - but I didn't.
Cleaning the frig just isn't on the top of my"fun" things to do list!
Woah, Woah, Woah!!!
To give you a visual this is the Viking frig I have - not my kitchen - don't you love the color of those cabinets!
Got all my gear together to tackle the job and removed all the shelving inside.
I have to admit I found a few "what the heck is this" hanging out in the back - EWWWW!
Chef Ramsey would have been mortified!
Removed all the shelves and cleaned them except one....
I removed the last glass shelf and so carefully carried over to the sink.
I was washing it under the running faucet.....
the next thing I knew the shelf shattered into a million tiny pieces!
the glass had shattered all over the kitchen!
This is how I felt!
Hubs cut a piece of thin veneer and we'll be using it till we get a new shelf.
What shouldn't you do while cleaning your refrigerator?
Don't wash a cold glass shelf under warm running water!

Yikes. So sorry that happened to you. Doesn't really make you want to clean the fridge again, does it? I'm not a big fan of that chore either. I loved all your graphics with the horrified faces....made me chuckle. Hope you get your new glass soon. I wanted to thank you for all the sweet notes you left me after your party. Oh YIKES!!!!!! This is why you shouldn't clean your fridge
It is a task I keep putting off. It needs to be one of these sooner than later sorts of days though. I am thinking once canning season is over!! Loved the photos along the way. I hope you get it replaced soon!!
