Its hard to believe that its been a year since Ginger came into our lives. Our sweet, sweet Ginger…
Ginger the first night we met her and she wasn’t quite sure who we were? Also don’t think she wanted to stay either. Ginger was a “forced surrender” dog from South Carolina.
Aggression was a problem in the beginning but as the weeks melted away she started to trust us.
We’ve learned a lot about Ginger…she loves to look out the window when sitting on top of tables.
Ginger looks like she could fall asleep at any moment. Her teddy bear is always lose by.
We know she will sit just about anywhere and on anything….
Sleeping is not a problem for Ginger which can be on the stairs…
Upside down on the floor..
Or in a chair which she can stay in this position, sleeping, for hours.
She’s like getting a bath but doesn’t like to be blow dried.
She loves to travel with us when we take our vintage Shasta trailer, Minnie Driv’r out.
Often times she sleeps on top of my chest and upon awakening she is looking at me.
Ginger can snore louder than anyone in this house!
Going for a walk is one of her favorite activities…
So is sitting on a bench.
Hiding in the garden is another past time…
But, at times, she doesn’t like to be found.
She is a fierce hunting dog and protects our yard passionately.
Lately she frantically digs DEEP holes in the garden. At one spot she’s actually dug deep enough to get under our garden path….
When she’s really in her glory is when snow is falling. She loves to rolls around in it and after that eats it!
Ginger has brought great joy to our lives which in turn has our so much in love with her!
