Hi everyone, the weather continues to be so beautiful…and we’ve been getting things done. I’ve felt so behind having been sick for so long…and being out in the warm sunlight seems to be helping. You might already know the garden beds are cleaned up and pond running.
We were able to clean off the porch and hang the sheers.
The garden banner gifted from Carol @ Art and Sand was hung. If you haven’t been to Carol’s blog please check her out. She has a gorgeous cottage, a kind person and a great blog. Another thing, Carol loves decorating with color as much as I do!
We hung BobNoFish in his usual spot. He’s been with us for so many years, a wooden fish that to me looks like a tuna? If you’d like to know the history of BobNoFish click here.
All the wicker furniture was moved out…and Ginger wanted to say hello! Isn’t that the sweetest face? See the teddy bear in the corner? It laying face down and Ginger found it and takes it everywhere…Another thing I wish my eyelashes were as long as hers!
Also started some seeds. I’m so far behind starting my seeds and had my greenhouse up already last year. Mr. C. is putting up the greenhouse in the next few days…
The seed trays are filled and sitting on heating pads. In a few days I’ll be seeing young seedling heads popping up. I’ve started Zinnia, Stock, Cosmos, Cleome so far. Its such a great feeling getting things done…especially getting my seeds going.
Last weekend Mr. C and I headed down South to check over a vintage trailer that was on sale. It looked great on the outside but not so good inside. There was no black water tank (toilet waste) and he said he had an air conditioner but didn’t. There was also rot in the floor and back of trailer. It ended up being too much work for us. We’re looking for a trailer that’s structually sound and we can make our own. Minnie looked even better once we got home.
I’m writing this post from Minnie and attending a Sisters On The Fly event called Foil cooking. Its learning dutch oven cooking using coals, foil cooking and cooking with pie irons (square things you put anything you want inside to make a ooey gooey sandwich.
I’d love to share what happened to me at Saddle Up at Pigeon Forge in February…but there’s just too many “eyes” out there. I’m kind of walking on thin ice so to speak. Let’s just say that bullying doesn’t stop in high school.
I’d signed up for this event last year and the sister hosting it is a friend and didn’t want to miss. Its not comfortable being here right now and keep me in your thoughts that all goes well.
We’ve been getting things done….are you?
