The first day of Fall was yesterday, so its official, its’ Fall! This morning I decided to pull together a fall Zinnia bouquet. Many of the Zinnia’s in bloom had fall colors to them. Looking out the window and playing with the bouquet noticed that it was an over cast day. But I’m not good taking photos in low light.
The upstairs guest room window faces south so I headed up there to take some photos. The Zinnia bloom colors were so vibrant and I cut as many different shades as I could.
With the remodel still going on the window didn’t have a curtain. There were a few pieces of the original oak flooring laying besides the window and grabbed a few of them. It was just as simple as standing a few inside the window. The fall wreath was the only one I am in reach to grab because of all the continued chaos.
The table was found a few months back for only $10 and grabbed it right up! Smaller tables are perfect for smaller homes.
Not realizing it but I thought it gave the vignette a natural rustic look.
Its still pretty hard getting to any of my treasure so I grabbed the closest ones. The owl I’ve had for a while and used it in many vignettes. It was dark shade and painted it white. Another milk glass vase was used for the Zinnia bouquet.
The orange wooden spool was a clearance item before Hancock Fabrics closed. Gosh I miss that store!
Just last week I scored the Fall plaid tin and tucked a few vintage white/orange napkins inside. The acorns were gather the other day when Ginger and I went for a walk. Can’t have too many acorns!
It was fun pulling together the Fall Zinnia bouquet and creating a vignette again. It’s been such a long time and I’ve missed decorating the Charmer…
The remodel had been moving along and we actually thought we would be seeing an end to it…but we soon realized it could get much worse!!!!
