Fall Vintage Linens on the Ladder
As you all might know by now I love linens! I have so many drawers/closet overflowing with linens! One thing I love to do is to use them in as many ways as I can.
I have four old ladders that I use in the Charmer. One in the master bedroom, bathroom, staircase and living area. Since ladders take up very little space they are great to use in smaller homes like the Charmer.
Since its Fall it was time to swap out the summer for more Fallish linens. If you didn’t see the summer linens you can click here…
The vignette starts with a seasonal picture hung above the ladder. I scored this cutie for $2 and it might be hard to see with the light shining on it.
But then I realized I had another photo…
A photo shared on my Instagram account. I share photos every day on Instagram and love how interactive it is and easy.
On the first ladder rung is a recent vintage linen find. The bright orange and green colors just called out to me. It was also very reasonable.
Since I have so many linens I like to double them on top of each other and another reason is that I love the blue and orange color combination for fall. I look for linens that have crewel work on them.
Then a blue with stripes piece which is actually a very LARGE vintage laundry bag. I’ve often thought of making a pillow or a table runner with it and hopefully one day I will.
After that, a gold-toned linen draped and staggered so not to hide the blue stripe. This linen is one I’ve used on the kitchen nook table.
A few more blue and gold linens together.
While pulling the linens together I realized how much having my linens out makes me and accomplishes the goal of a Fall Vintage Linens Vignette.
After I wondered if you use your fall vintage linens that you decorate with? On the other hand, you probably don’t have as many linens as I do. A linen hoarder I am!
