Welcome friends. Just before leaving for Starve Rock State Park, where I’m writing the post from, I pulled together a fall porch centerpiece. The weather has been warm enough, and so pretty, to sit outside for a few more meals.
This post will be short because, I’m sitting at the entrance to Starve Rock campground, the only place I could get enough internet access to write the post! State parks are not known for their internet access…and that’s OK by me since we should be out enjoying nature and NOT on our computers!
You might know by now that everything used in the fall porch centerpiece are from thrift store find. The gate leg table was a garage sale find!
I moved one (of three I own), smaller gate leg table, out to the back porch. Its the perfect size for dinner for two, and I love the darker wood on her.
The runner was made out of a brown tweed throw, folded in thirds, and a textured runner on top.
The centerpiece was pulled together in less than a hour with very little thought given to this centerpiece! I just grouped together the remaining fall decor from the containers sitting on the porch.
I look for a lot of things at thrift stores, and am always on the look out for wicker baskets of all shape and sizes. Filled the basket with one of my favorite squirrels found last year at a barn sale and few textured pumpkins.
A great place to sit and have dinner on a beautiful fall day…but for right now I’m headed back to our site to cook dinner…on a beautiful fall evening.
I sure hope you are enjoying the fall weather!
