I’m bringing a little fall into the Charmer this season with an easy fall no sew Owl Pillow.
You might not know this about me…but I am always running behind! It’s true, for someone who is retired, you’d think I wouldn’t be behind! Not happening.
I actually have my fall mantel, buffet and deck all decorated in fall decor…it’s finding the time to edit photos, write posts and enjoy life that I promised I would do since I retired!
I found these cute owl dishcloths at Joann’s last week and were 50% off.
I just slid the towel over my pillow form, my form is 16″ wide and 13″ deep. I loosely slipped stitched around the three ends. You could hot glue around or the fusible tape. If you don’t have a pillow form just stuffed it with fiber fill.
Tip: whenever I’m out thrifting I always look for pillows…not for the outside cover, but for the size and shape. It’s a great way to pick up some inexpensive forms you can use later…just cut off the outer fabric and use for your next project.
I’ve seen so many cute owls across blogland but I haven’t come across any thrifting. So when I spotted the owl dishtowels I knew I was going to make some cute Owl pillows.
Do you like owls and use them in your fall decorations?
