Last Saturday night we had friends, Vince and Rosemarie, over for a fall dinner with friends. After dinner we went to St. Albert’s to see an Elvis impersonator, Rick Saucedo. It was a good time, and I actually enjoyed the act before, The Legacy Andrew Sisters Girls. They were really good…and if you closed your eyes you’d swear you were hearing the Andrew Sisters.
I wanted to share our tablescape with you, but first, I wanted to show you our new gate leg table.
This is our third gate leg table…two are sitting down in the dungeon! This is a classic farmhouse gate leg table.
It’s a great size, and the top is made out of varying sized planks. It’s really heavy and I love it.. This ones the keeper!
With Thanksgiving this Thursday I didn’t go fancy..just a simple tablescape.
Warning, it’s been dreary and rain/snowing here. Even with lighting it was hard to get some good pictures.
I started with a burlap runner, and starting pulling everything fall from around the house.
Everything but the real pumpkins are thrift store finds.
I’ve had this crock soup tureen at my booth for a long time, and never sold, so finally brought it home to use.
The placemats are orange, rattan charger, blue vintage plates and silverware. I liked how the napkins pulled all the colors together.
The colors are not really showing well…must be the lighting!
I love the combination of blue and orange which was my theme for this fall.
Fall, and friends, are such a great combination!
