hydrangea under cloche

A Fall Corner Vignette

I’ve  been enjoying decorating our home for Fall, it is a beautiful season.  The weather has been perfect lately and has helped me stay in the spirit.   Today I did our fall corner vignette in our dining room by our fireplace.

Here is how the corner looked before, a summer look..

I kept the farm tool and the gold frame, replaced the hydrangeas with some dried ones..

On the right side of the vignette I grabbed a small foot stool, silver tea pot, an old box and clock I just found.

Added a few pumpkins.  Lately I can’t seen to get enough of old foot stools or boxes. The clock isn’t old but I liked the feel of her.  Added another one of the fall oil paintings found while thrifting.

I wanted to bring in at least one hydrangea in to this vignette, so I tucked one inside a cloche.

A small vintage washboard that I just found was added as well as a small acorn cluster inside.

The washtub has glass in it instead of metal, I also picked up a larger one.

I used a small scrap of fall material for the runner.

I’m please with how it turned out.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my corner vignette as much as I did sharing it with you.

So pretty! I love the washboard. Your frame looks just like the one I used to make my skeleton keys. LOL It looks gorgeous with your fall decor. Thanks so much for helping make the party extra special. Hugs
