Easter is this Sunday, and I rarely set our tablescape before, but last night I did. The Charmer is a small, cozy home, and setting a table a week before is typically out of the question. I use the dining table for crafting and a transition place to hold treasures that need a permanent home. But it was such a beautiful sunny day yesterday and inspiration called to me to our Easter tablescape!
A few months back I found a gorgeous lace tablecloth and last week a vintage house vent. The vent is the only treasure not found at a thrift store, it’s from the vintage mall where my booth (#100) is at. Indian Oaks, Bourbonnairs, IL (the town where Da Bears train at). It was $20, and I had to have it!
Each table setting started with a rattan placemat (79¢)…
Then a dinner plate (bought place setting for 12 for $35) just found at a local thrift store.
Topped with a white basketweave small plate (45¢)
A teacup saucer in the Warwick flower pattern..
where a nest settles inside the tea cup…
using a pink napkin (22¢) wrapped it tightly around my hand to create a nest and nestled it inside a yellow chenille egg made out of old remnants. I also made the chenille eggs in pink, white and creme.
A cute bunny planter.
