If there’s one place I want to be in the Charmer it’s in my Cozy Christmas Kitchen! I love my kitchen, now that doesn’t mean there aren’t things I wouldn’t change about it, there is. But when I walk in to the kitchen I have such a wave of being enveloped in the warmest feeling!
So it’s with great pleasure I’m sharing with you my cozy Christmas kitchen. Now if you don’t know, it’s been very dreary here in IL and very difficult to take photos, even with 5 windows in here.
Our kitchen nook. When I purchased the Charmer this was an enclosed porch. My Dad was good at construction and did the remodel opening the porch up to be part of the kitchen. That’s why you see the railing, this is where the original porch began.
The beautiful lace curtain panels were found at Savers, and they are beautiful, six panels were $14.00 total. See the beautiful pattern on the panel bottoms in the left hand side below the window.
It’s impossible for me to get a full picture of the nook, I was actually sitting on the counters to take these! Obviously above the windows.
A beautiful red transferware platter with two ironstone pitchers filled with fresh evergreen clippings.
I’m sure you all can relate to this, holiday decorating can be exhausting, so I’ll keep my words brief and let the photos speak for themselves.
Just above the vintage chair railing is a cabinet…
Swinging around to the left…
A ladder was placed on top of the two cabinets on either side of the window. I though it would be fun to hang some of my vintage red kitchenware/utensils from the ladder.
Utensil ornaments…hope you don’t think this silly of me?
Above the ladder…
I found six of these enamel holiday cups at a garage sale.
I never finished the cabinet/sink area of the kitchen, just to tired, and to be honest don’t like “vignettes” on my counters. I like them clean and open.
So glad to share with you my cozy Christmas kitchen!
