First of all, I can’t believe its August already! How did that happened? July’s cottage garden photos were taken early last week. My gardens prime time is late June through September.
The remodel continues to move forward and still facing new problems…five weeks and counting. Since last week we’re been without water and sewer. The bathroom we’re using is a two room shower/toilet used camping…can’t wait for this to be over.
My gardens continue to provide solace and a place to spend quite time in. The weather has been sooooo hot that mornings are the only time spent outside.
Several sitting areas to ponder one’s thought.
Lamium covered flagstone garden paths…
Morning Glory covered arbors to walk under and containers brimming with flowers to gaze upon..
Moss covered stones nestled at the bottom of the waterfall. Worries flushed away listening to the water.
Cottage garden filled with phlox.
Sunflowers glowing in the sun so bright you almost need to look away.
A gifted Delphinium treasure shared by our wildlife family.
Zinnias started from seed finally blooming.
Salvias started from seed standing tall and proud.
Cleome started from seeding finally opening to share her beauty.
Strawberry Fields hydrangea which is her first year in our garden.
Prolific bloomer Limelight Hydrangea
Wildflower Queen Anne’s Lace
Sweet, Sweet flowers of Lavender Meadow Rue one of my top five garden perennials.
Wisteria last blooms of the season. Soon a heavy pruning will be done because no next years flush of Spring color won’t be lost.
Many more blooms to share but didn’t want to overload you with photos.
How does your garden grow?
