Christmas Porch

Print Friendly

It's been so beautiful the last two days that Mr. Charmer and I have been outside decorating the house. Today we are sharing our Christmas Porch!

My starting point was adding this old ladder. Some garland was hung, and a few ornaments added.

An old rocking chair that I found on the curbside, solid oak with no seat or back was added. I did score 6 old springs from it.  The sled was placed in the sled and added a pair of old skates.

On the corner of the chair is a rustic bark birdhouse I just found, and a vintage watering can filled with Holly from out garden.

In front of the ladder I added an old box, inside I placed and old red oil can and a wall plague.  Next to it is a rusty old pail with shrub branches inside.

For the window box I added garland, a sled, ornaments, red twigged dogwood branches and lights.

A few photos of the porch all lite up.

I love twinkle of clear lights...

and the sparkle of the stars.

Have you been decorating your porch for the holidays?
