I’m excited to be able to share with you more of our Christmas Home Tour! A few days ago was A Charming Christmas Dining Room and today is our Christmas Living Area.
It’s hard taking photos in the Charmer because she is a long house (front to back) and not very wide. I really need a wide angle lens (very expensive) so I’ve done my best to get good photos. I am actually standing as far back as I can in the foyer! If I stand in the dining room you’d be seeing all the furniture in there.
Oh, woes of life!
The red/white theme was also carried in the living area. The dining and living room is one larger open rectangular room. Behind the stairwell and through the door is the kitchen/nook. To the right is a small hall that has two bedrooms and a bath. I just realized that I have not shared these rooms before.
Our love seats were purchase about 10 years ago from Ethan Allen, everything, except the pillows I made, are thrifting treasures. The windows are South facing and let in lots of gorgeous sunlight.
To the left of the seating area is our armoire we use as our tv holder.
When the sun is out it’s nearly impossble to get a “good” photo. I just found the lamb and wish I could of found a few more. To the left of this area is the dining room.

Anytime I spot holiday dishes while thrifting I snatch them up, they don’t even need to match!
Every season I decorate our lamp shade.
This year I wrapped plaid ribbon over and around the shade, very easy! To me you can’t have too much plaid for the holidays.
Several years back I made the Christmas wall quilt. The stocking at the top of the stairs is one my Mama made for me! I have to use it every year. The other two came from GW, one burlap the other velvet.
The wooden tree was a clearance item from Home Goods, one of the few times I’m in there, $12.00.
I just realized I forgot to take photos of my cozy sitting area directing across from here. Maybe it’s because I have craft projects laying all around.
Across from the sitting area is The China Hutch….
Our china hutch dressed up for the holidays. 99% of my dishes are thrifting treasures.
Below the hutch is a bookcase we transformed in to cottage charm for thrift store ugliness! I’m always looking for storage space so I placed lace curtain on the bottom two shelves to store some of my MANY dishes!

Thank you for visiting and letting me share with you The Charmer Christmas Living Area!
I hope you’ve enjoyed see how she is decorated, in Christmas joy.
Did you have a theme this year for your holiday decorating?
