Today’s post I’m sharing my Christmas kitchen vignettes. I’ve drifted to a simple style while encapsulating an old fashioned Christmas. An old fashioned kind of girl at heart…. To give a vintage feel to the vignettes I’ve placed putz paper houses, bottle brush trees and vintage ornaments were used.
By the time I got home the sun was down and the photos taken at night…
This year I gave up my past and embraced my heart.
I’ve fallen in heart with bottle brush trees tucked inside teacups then a putz houses nestled inside a cloche.
Bottle bush trees nestled on thread spool then vintage wood spools inside the soup ironstone soup tureen.
I was deeply happy when I spotted the vintage deer. Then a few more bottle brush trees on top of vintage bobbins.
Just wouldn’t be Christmas without Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus!
Two thrift store cardboard houses after spray painting white. Vintage dish with a single ornament. Do you see the peoples?
The house wreaths are acturally candle bobeches while bringing a little color.
A vintage dish rack holding some dishes…
Then the next vignette took on a woodland look. There are times when I feel like I could see myself waking into this vignette.
While out thrifting scored this tartan lunch box and deer.
Also created a simple vignette in side the tartan lunch box.
Certainly a little bling is needed and added a rhinestone necklace inside the red tureen.
Also a simple single ornament inside a tea cup just adds a understate charm.
Additionally another single vintage ornament under a small cloche.
Another single ornament with a little bling in a teacup.
I wish that Christmas decorations could stay up all year…makes me feel so good with all the emotions they invoke.
How’s your decorations going?
