Christmas Kitchen Nook Vignettes
It’s bitter cold today with a wind chill of -13°! Yikes!!! Even though the sun’s shining I’m staying inside.
I’ve felt better this week but my bronchitis is hanging on. Since it’s not bacterial, and only 10% of bronchitis is, antibiotics wouldn’t help. I’ve been taking homeopathy medicine and cough syrup. Once I realized breathing outside cold air made it worse I’ve been wearing a winter mask.
The kitchen nook is a cozy spot for Christmas decorating and vignettes. I love using plaid during the holidays and the reindeer lends a woodland touch.
Vintage Christmas holly teacups in a tureen with a bottle brush tree tucked inside.
I love using red transferware at Christmastime which gives a great pop of red color.
A pretty Joy tin and a favorite white tree which is used throughout winter.
Another vignette using red transferware gravy bowl, reindeer and Christmas glasses.
Then a pair of vintage altar children and a Christmas car ornament. The red background truck is Restoration Hardware find.
Vintage holly bell with another tureen topped with a rustic wreath on top.
Some more red transferware and an ornamental tree tucked inside a creamer. Then a transferware dish stacked on top of vintage red books.
