There are so many projects going on behind the scenes of our BIG deck project (moving slooow). But I finally tackled painting these two chairs (been
sitting laying around for 13 years). Suggest you put on your sunglasses!
Sorry about the blinding sun, only picture I could find of them. At the time I was going to list them on CL, but decided not to since I loved the arms. They were part of an old, worn kitchen set (only pieces left) purchased from a Sidewalk Sale “The Brownsatorium” store that recently closed after 35 years. 😥 It was a great place!
We sprayed painted them with a high glass black (Rustoleum) and recovered the cushions! What an improvement!
I don’t know about you BUT it takes me the longest time to decide on the fabric. After two weeks of looking for the “right” fabric I fell in love with this material! I wanted a fabric that had more white then black to make it POP against the black frame. Yeah – I likey!
The fabric is from Hancock Fabrics and it was on SALE!!! 1 of my ten commandments is to NEVER pay full price for fabric.
Wondering where these pictures were taken from? Nope, not at my home, but a booth I rented until recently at a local antique store.
Such an easy inexpensive way to give old furniture a new life! What have you been spray painting lately?
