Morning,
Weathers perfect, and I am enjoying working on our fall decorating.
A few days ago I shared the Hydrangea Autumn wreath I made and today I finished the mantel.

I wanted our mantel simpler, less dense....

than our buffet since they are right across from each other.

Just a little simple.

This side is my rusty chippy side, the scale was a find at the barn sale I went to this summer, even though the face is rusted over I fell in love with the aqua color. The raffia bundle a thrift store find.
Next to it is a very rusty bucket turned up side down and a lovely gourd on top.

In the middle is a simple metal shelf (stamped partylite) with a dried hydrangea and a few pumpkins.

Over on this side is a rattan vase I bought from the antique mall (Indian Oaks) where I am at, another lovely gourd, fabric pumpkin and a few dried hydrangeas.

I feel relaxed and soothed when I look at my mantel,

simple..

and natural is fine by me
What Autumn decorating have you been doing?

Okay, I love this mantel. What a great idea for a backdrop with the sheet music, and your wreath on the picket fence is lovely! Thank you so much for the sweet comments about the spray-painted bar cart and the tomatillo salsa. I styled the cart--couldn't resist or wait any longer!
Beautiful. The sheet music as a backdrop is so pretty.
Your mantel is such an inspiration. I love the little fence and those hydrangeas are gorgeous.
Beautiful mantle! The rustic, simplicity of it is lovely. And I love the sheet music background. We rent our house and there is an large dated mirror above our fireplace that I have wondered how to cover up. This would be perfect! Thanks for sharing your brilliance!
What a lovely, lovely mantle. Everything is simply perfect!
Love the wreath it looks great
Everything is lovely ! You must be so happy to have the major renovations done and to be able to decorate
You did a great job on that mantel ... LOVE it ... would love to have access to dried hydrangeas, but none here. I am not happy with my Fall mantel, so have plans to change it for the third time. Want something simple and that is what is so attractive about yours. Love the sheet music background.
Blessings,

Timeless Treasures.
Hi Cathy. The rest of the mantle looks great, a good combination with the pretty wreath. Thank you for commenting to me on the tea witches. We all had a very good time. You will too when they come to your house. I thought the blue was a little too 'in your face' when we first painted but it has actually faded a bit so I like it better now. I just finished my mantle tonight so will post later in week..Happy Monday..Judy
found you over at the Inspired Room's nesting party - LOVE the sheet music on your mantel - beautiful arrangement...going to take a look around your blog and see what other wonderful stuff I can find...
