Our Anniversary Trip with Minnie.
Its been awhile since I’ve posted and I don’t feel bad at all! We were out enjoying our 19th wedding anniversary. The twelve-day trip included a vintage trailer rally and then followed by a week-long stay at our favorite spot on Lake Erie.
The first night of the vintage rally we stayed at a campground near the drive-in.
Friday night we went out to dinner and then the whole group partook in candlelight bowling. So much fun.
On Saturday morning all 25 vintage trailers lined up in a row. Then we had a police “escort” to the Monticello movie drive-in. The coolest thing e.ver.
Then each car/trailer pulled into the drive-in and found the perfect spot. Our truck and Minnie Driv’r is on the left.
The movie we watch was It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad World. We hadn’t seen it in years and it was so funny.
After leaving the vintage rally we headed to Monroe, MI for a week of camping at Lake Erie for our anniversary week. Our most favorite place to be. Most of the time we spent it on the beach.
We had so many visitors stop by to chit chat with us.
I even helped Mr. C out of his chair after it folded in on him!
We went out to dinner to our favorite Italian Restaurant but we were so HUNGRY I forgot to take a photo.
There were so many beautiful views to see on our anniversary trip.
Goldenrod is in full bloom.
It was a wonderful time of year to be at Lake Erie. Also, the weather was beautiful the whole week.
The most beautiful skies and sunsets too.
Some of the sunsets were just breathtaking.
It turned out to be one of the best anniversaries we’ve ever had. Everything was just perfect.
I cried because I didn’t want it to end. But we will be going back as soon as we can.
