Smiles peeps,
I was away for the weekend and had a fabulous time.
I'll be posting soon on my trip and the treasures I found!
If you've been following me you know that my garden has been hit hard by the drought!
My hydrangeas just didn't produce the blooms they typically do.

I was driving by one my grocery stores..

when I spotted these gorgeous hydrangeas blooms!

there were blooms everywhere, big gorgeous blooms.
So I did what any Hydrangea lover would do!
I pulled in to the far end of the parking lot, open my SUV back door up and

and started "picking" a few many for myself.
What else could a girl do!
So, am I a "picker" or a "thief!

Cathy I had to laugh at this post! My hydrangeas lost a lot of there flowers in a heavy rain storm that we had. There's a local nursery that I drive by all the time and they have gorgeous ones blooming in there entrance and I am so tempted to go by at night and cut some. With my luck they'll have cameras and I'll have the police knocking at my door LOL!
Haha, that is so funny. I just planted a small bush this year and I have a looong way to go!! New follower to your blog
Tears of joy - I have found a fellow hydrangea bloom burglar! My hydrangea despises my yard - I have moved her five times in ten years trying to find a place she would be happy. she produces a few blooms a year, but nothing like the ones the city planted all over the parkways. One day I was driving by where the city crew were working. I stopped to ask if I could have a few blooms. He replied that a "few" would be OK. I took that as the golden key and filled the back of my truck!
