I’ll be honest with you all I’ve struggle to bring myself in from my garden this past week :-}. After a long hard winter my garden is where I want to be…but since it rained today I’m sitting out on the back porch typing up this post. Yesterday, as the sun shinned, I cut a few Virginia Bluebells from the garden which inspired me to create a bit of Spring in the kitchen vignette.
Virginia Blue Bells are so beautiful! I love using out of the ordinary items as flower vases. The bluebells are nestled in a vintage glass lamp shade (vintage milk bottle inside) while held in place with a vintage canning funnel.
Even though the Virginia Bluebells are the spotligh a pretty vintage linen provided a charming base.
In front is my blue bird planter and cute pink and green salt and pepper set found at a barn sale two weeks ago.
Ah, Spring, what a wonderful time.
It’s also a time to paint…we are painting the kitchen a lighter cottage blue tomorrow!
Have you started any painting project lately?
